[attr="class","official-title"]THE PLOT
[attr="class","official-header"]turmoil and disaster is upon us
[attr="class","official-content"]
Each region of Centauri (north, south, east, west) is led by a High King and High Queen. Traditionally, this was more of a representative role - the High Kings and Queens would meet twice per year for delegation and conflict resolution, but everything was pretty tame and there was very little ruling going on within the regions. However, in the last decade, things have changed. The severe weather events on Centauri, which used to be few and far between, have become almost commonplace. Wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods have become increasingly common, causing some struggle over land and resources. The predators have also become more aggressive, possibly due to these other changes, moving in on the areas that the herds have traditionally called home. The High Kings and Queens have, therefore, become actual leaders for their regions, called on during disasters, attacks, and war to protect the herds that call their region home. And just like any leaders, they can mold and direct their followers toward good or evil - and in these trying times, only the strong will survive.
[break][break]
Mother Nature will constantly be throwing in-thread and site-wide events at our inhabitants, and they will have to stay on their toes to escape unscathed.
