♦ Nobody's perfect, but we do expect correct grammar and spelling in each post.

♦ We only have a 100 word word count, but as stated above, we are expecting quality writing.

♦ No sexist, racist, homophobic, etc. remarks will be tolerated. There will be punishment if something like this occurs. It's best to stay away from topics like religion, politics, etc. in the Discord. We are completely LGBTQ friendly.

♦ This is a site for mature roleplayers. Not as far as content - we observe the TOS and everything should be kept PG-13 - but as far as mental maturity. We're asking that members be at least be 15 to join the site in order to fit in with the community. If we deem (at any age) that you are not acting with appropriate maturity for this site, then we reserve the right to ask you to leave.

♦ Swearing is allowed, but keep it from being too out of control.

♦ Likewise, violence is allowed but don't get too gory. Sexual content is not allowed, but may be vaguely referenced.

♦ Absolutely no godmodding or powerplaying will be tolerated unless agreed on between two players ahead of time. The only exception is mentioned below in the 'Herds' section.

♦ No wolfspeak, aka 'using a thesaurus every other word to make your posts nearly unreadable and NOT poetic, if that's what you're going for'. We're nostalgic, but we're not THAT nostalgic.

♦ Post in the Away board if you will be gone for any reason. Anyone who has been gone without notice for two weeks or longer is subject to have their account deleted.

♦ Respect everyone. Be nice to everyone. We're all here to have fun.

♦ Don't use text colors that are hard to read. We will tell you if you need to change it, but we'd prefer it if we didn't have to.

♦ When you post your bio, wait for it to be accepted by a staff member. Do not post as your character anywhere on the board until approved.

♦ Read the rules on art here.

♦ Ideas, art, and content that become part of the site (banners, main plots, etc) become property of the site. We will not abuse this. However, if you ever choose to leave the site, we reserve the right to continue using this content for its intended purpose. (Added 4/22/21)

♦ When you make your account, you'll want to immediately change the posting default to BBC Code and Enable Drafts. If you post the creation form in preview rather than BBC Code, you'll have to fix the extra spaces.

♦ While there are fantasy aspects to the site (mostly the setting itself), we use real horse colors and genetics. If you're unsure what color a horse is that you'd like to use, please ask! If something needs to be changed for your character to be accepted, please do so.

♦ While coat colors need to be realistic, you may have any eye color that you'd like with a max of two different colors if desired

♦ We don't use breeds here. Instead, we ask that your character be specified as hotblood, warmblood, draft, or pony. What does this mean? You can have chestnut on a Friesian build if you want to! You just can't call it a Friesian, because we don't have breeds.

♦ You can also create donkeys with the same rules as above! However, know that if they have a foal with a horse, they are going to be infertile.

♦ Given that the setting is its own planet, horses can only be from somewhere on mainland Centauri.

♦ We prefer that posts be in third person, past tense.

♦ If you're going to have a horse with a mental disorder, be sure that you've done your research.

♦ You can create a pregnant mare, but you need to fill out a separate creation form for the foal as a separate character once they're born.

♦ Herd leaders must keep an updated list of their members stickied within their boards.

♦ Herd leaders have the option to lightly powerplay those that come onto their lands. No permanent damage or serious injuries, and it will be monitored by staff.

♦ Each member may only be primary lead of one herd at a time, including High King/Queen status. Exceptions to this may be granted, but it must go through the admin.

♦ To claim an empty claimable land, post a 'claiming thread' in the board and give the staff a heads up in the Discord.
[break][break]
♦ Herds can be named anything you'd like.
[break][break]
♦ High Kings and Queens will be chosen by staff through an audition process. They do not need to be a mated pair.

♦ High King and Queen titles are held by members. Therefore, the title can be passed on to their character's offspring if the same member is playing the character.
[break][break]
♦ If a High position goes inactive, auditions will be held again as needed.

♦ Fighting here is a little different than other places. There will be no 'judged' fights. In our experience, they cause more drama than necessary.

♦ Therefore, herd leaders cannot be challenged if they are doing a good job unless the winner is pre-determined by the two members. For example, if so and so is tired of having their character be a leader, they can arrange for someone else's character to come in and 'fight' for the spot, though both players are already aware of who will win.

♦ To make up for this, if all herds are active and you are active and would like to have a herd, we will open a new land if all others are claimed.
[break][break]
♦ If a leader goes inactive, their land will be opened for claiming.
[break][break]
♦ This isn't to take away from plotting - quite the opposite, really. We want you to plot, and plan. There can be a war - the 'winner' just needs to be pre-determined, if it's that sort of war. Or no one needs to actually win. Fights can happen, but they won't be judged. Not every fight has to have a winner, either. Basically we're saying staff will not judge any sort of fight, so do as you please knowing that.

♦ The horses here reach sexual maturity at two years of age. No breeding can happen before they are two.

♦ We love babies, and absolutely encourage foals. However, your mares can only have a foal once per year. Stallions have no limit.

♦ Graphic breeding is absolutely prohibited. This will be strictly enforced. You may either roleplay the breeding thread and fade to black, or not roleplay the breeding and just have an agreement between both roleplayers. However, the characters must have at least one thread between them.

♦ Foal stats will be decided via dice role. Just make sure you post in the foal stats board and fill out the appropriate form.
[break][break]
♦ As stated, donkeys and horses may inter-breed, but the foals will be infertile.
[break][break]
♦ Rape, or "force breeding," isn't allowed. Mares irl have plenty of tools in their box to keep unwanted stallions at bay, so it's unrealistic as well as gross.

♦ Here's where we go a bit fantasy again and deviate from real life - foals are born four rl weeks (the equivalent of one season) after they're conceived. So the pregnancy moves pretty quickly!

♦ Similarly, the mares here can be bred year-round. The foals born in the winter months will have more of an early struggle to survive.

♦ Foals will age the same as any other horse in the game.
[break][break]
♦ The player of the foal needs to be decided before the foal is born, otherwise it will be a still birth.

♦ One real month = one season

♦ Liquid time is allowed. Your character may be in multiple threads at once. Just make sure you can keep up with the threads you're in.
